Sattler College will, rather, concentrate on 3 c’ s: core academics, Christian character and keeping education expenses down.

Boston-area entrepreneur Finny Kuruvilla, who established Sattler, appeared on “Fox &&Friends”on Wednesday to sneak peek the brand-new school.

“ The contemporary academic system is too pricey, it’ s academically weak and it’ s hostile to faith, ” Kuruvilla stated. “ These organizations are really resistant to alter, therefore we chose to produce our own college in Boston, Massachusetts.”

He explained that the typical trainee, after 4 years of college, is even worse off when it pertains to problems like porn dependency, drug unfaithful, usage and indiscrimination. He desires Sattler to “ concentrate on the entire individual, ” instead of simply on GPA or college records.

“ It ’ s time for a transformation to obtain college back on track to think of character as much as it considers establishing the mind, ” Kuruville stated, including that due to the fact that this is a Christian college, it will keep trainees “ grounded. ”

The liberal arts school will have 5 majors at the beginning: human biology, computer technology, scriptural and spiritual research studies, history and service.

The school prepares to one day broaden into journalism.

Kuruvilla made a medical degree and Ph.D. from Harvard and preaches at Followers of the Way, a little church in Medford, a Boston residential area.
